In Racing Live I often get the question, "Which cars should I buy?". It is a subjective question because everyone plays the game differently. Some save and want defensive cars while others just want to race and beat the snot out of everyone. Most find a balance between the two.
Further, skill points for speed and handling are far more important then the cars you own in my experience.
All that said, there are still some cars that are great values in terms of upkeep. Others offer great defense when you are at lower levels or rebuilding. In my opinion, keeping mostly defensive cars is the way to go.
My list of the best cars are:
- Mini Cooper
- Nissan 370z
- Audi R8
- Ferrari Enzo
The Enzo is the best value in the game in my opinon.
Honorable mentions go to the Chrysler 300C, the Aston Martin Vanquish and the Maserati Gran Turismo. I have run the numbers and analyzed all of the cars. These are the only cars I would own, unless I wanted some for specific street races.
The worst car in the game is the 1998 Ford Escort. At one speed and one handling it is like having no car. Other rip offs include:
- BMW M3
- Ferrari California
- Porsche Carrera GT
Everyone has a different strategy. If you want to build speed for racing others, your choice may differ. Maybe you want certain colors or brands. Perhaps you just want one of every car. Whatever works for you will make the game the most fun.
If you are like me though, with a defensive racing posture, include the cars I mentioned above. Happy racing!
